Safety Oversight Management Team
Starbase Aviation’s experienced management team ensures that no trip is released without the full participation of our entire team of aviation professionals. Unlike most Charter “Brokers”, Starbase Aviation’s management team consists of a dedicated and experienced Director of Safety, who is further supported by numerous other managers such as our Director of Operations, Director of Maintenance, Director of Training, Director of Charter, Chief Pilot and Chief Maintenance Inspector. We offer our clients the expertise of our entire management team to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance on each and every flight.
Our audited Safety Management System is managed by the Director of Safety, and all of our approved Air Carriers are required to adhere to the same high-standards.
Safety & Compliance Audit Standards
All flights are operated by Starbase Aviation or by one of our pre-screened and audited FAA Part 135 approved Air Carriers. Starbase Aviation demands the highest audit standards from all of our affiliated Air Carriers. We utilize the services of only the very best aviation audit authorities such as ARG/US and Wyvern. In order to even be considered for our carefully chosen network of approved charter operators, the Air Carrier must have successfully passed an on-site audit conducted by at least one of these audit organizations. Additionally, our Safety Management Team ensures on-going compliance with these standards, and does not allow the release or operation of any flight without a specific compliance check prior to each flight.
Professional Flight Crews - A Higher Standard
Starbase Aviation requires participating Air Carriers to uphold a very high level of safety standards for their pilots, exceeding Federal Aviation Regulations in a variety of categories, including: total time in a particular aircraft type; total flight hours as Pilot-in-Command; and, total flight hours as Pilot-in-Command of a specific aircraft type.
Each pilot must meet the higher minimum audit standards to be qualified to operate any trip for Starbase Aviation. Moreover, the actual experience level of pilots certified to fly any trip for our company typically far exceeds those same high standards for flight time, proficiency and compliance.
